SUP Lessons Private or Group with Drew Climie

SUP Lessons

Taking a SUP lesson is the best way to have a great first experience if you are new to the sport. A lesson is also the best way to get the most from your new board. If you own a board I always recommend taking the lesson on your own equipment so you get to know it even better.

Reasons to take a lesson include,

  • Learn how to properly turn, navigate, and stop your board

  • Learn a more powerful stroke that will move you with greater ease and improve your balance in choppier conditions

  • Gain the confidence to take your board out in a group or rent in new locations

  • Confidence in more weather and wave conditions

  • Proper safety considerations including getting on and off your board and self rescue

  • When it's safe to go out and when it isn't
